We experienced a leak in our basement and were under a great deal of stress with the recent hurricane that brought power outages and damage to our area. We were scheduled to close on our house the next day and Andrew, the owner, quickly answered our call and sent a team to address the situation. He provided an invoice and warranty for the new homeowners, helping them move in without worry! You won’t find a better company when it comes to customer service and expertise!
Had a slow roof leak and was unsure what to do. Contacted Tidewater and they were very very responsive. They guided me through the process and addressed all my concerns. I am posting this several months after the issue was fixed and it still is! No need to look further. This company understands Customer Service. You won’t be disappointed.

What an outstanding and professional company Tidewater is. My house was damaged during a storm. This was the first time I’ve had to deal with a problem like this. I was stressed, worried and I had a lot of questions. Tidewater sat down with me and explained everything ,in layman‘s terms. They answered all my questions and eased all my concerns. They communicated with me throughout the entire process and in less than two weeks my roof was replaced. The crew that arrived at my house, to do the work , was very pleasant and they took great care with everything that they did. They also did a wonderful job of cleaning up prior to leaving. Andrew and his team completed our basement remodel and it looks amazing! This was our first major home remodel and I think we asked him at least 200 questions. Tidewater came highly recommended. Very good prices, Mr. Andrew the owner is very polite and really knows his stuff. He sent over his guys to start our Roof, windows, doors, siding, gutters, railings, Awnings and sheet the house with plywood. His guys are very polite and treated our house if it were there own. Very clean jobsite, trash taken out everyday and did amazing work. Highly recommend using Tidewater.
Tidewater came highly recommend, and they did not disappoint. We had them install a new front entry door with full-view storm door. Very helpful, informative and knowledgeable when it came to our selecting our door. Andrew was spot on with his recommendations. It was an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to work with Tidewater Construction. Their professionalism, workmanship, and service were amazing. Their pricing was extremely fair. Andrew Lord was fantastic to work with and lives up to what is on his business card about changing customer’s minds about contractors. Andrew and his team always showed up on time but usually early to do work. The crew was extremely professional, did phenomenal work, and cleaned up after themselves. One of my biggest things with projects is communication. I did not have to chase Andrew for information and if I had any questions (I ask a lot of questions) Andrew was extremely timely in responding. Even with COVID, Tidewater Construction was AMAZING!!! The only delays were due to county inspection timelines, due to COVID, which were totally out of Tidewater’s control. Andrew was extremely diligent with following up with the county and with providing me with continuous updates. I will absolutely have Tidewater Construction back for my other projects, have already recommended them to others, and would recommend them to anyone.
Updated/additional review: I had Tidewater Construction come back to do a bathroom for me. Once again, they did not disappoint. Their work was terrific, well priced and thorough. The teams would usually show up early to do the work and always cleaned up after. Andrew had some terrific design recommendations which I couldn’t be happier with. There was an issue with a manufactures defect with some of the materials, but Andrew and Tidewater did not take any short cuts to ensure the quality of the work. He was persistent with the manufacturer and made sure the work was done right. Again, I would greatly recommend them to anyone.
Updated/additional review: I had Tidewater Construction back to install a tankless water heater and glass French doors. Once again, I could not be happier. The tankless water heater is fantastic, and the French doors look extremely elegant. Andrew’s expertise and advice was extremely helpful. Tidewater came in a got the job done quickly and were reasonably priced. The guys showed up early, stayed until the work was done, and cleaned up afterwards, without a trace. I cannot say enough great things about Tidewater and have recommended them to several of neighbors and anyone who is looking for amazing work. Thanks!!
Tidewater did an amazing job with our breezeway project. They were flexible with my schedule and communicated with me throughout the job. Andrew was on site regularly to make sure the project was completed as planned. He and his team are so nice and very professional. Andrew is very knowledgeable on best practices in construction and does NOT cut corners when it comes to quality of work and craftsmanship. We will be hiring them again for our other projects. I highly recommend them!

Tidewater Construction did an amazing job building our dream home! From start to finish, Andrew did a great job explaining the process and seeing it through. He had a lot of great ideas about how to customize our home to really make it feel unique to us, and built it exactly how we wanted. He was very enjoyable to work with. From the shelving to the trim work, they really do a great job with their craftsmanship. Every one of his crew members are friendly and efficient. We couldn’t be happier with our new home.
